Frequently asked questions.

What is SudoRush?

SudoRush is a real-time 1v1 competitive sudoku game on Android. Two players solve a sudoku puzzle simultaneously on a shared Snakes-and-Ladders board. Correct answers advance your token. Sabotages can send your rival sliding back.

How long is a typical match?

Most matches run 3 to 5 minutes. Match length depends on the difficulty tier. Easy (4x4) resolves faster than Expert (9x9).

What Android version do I need?

Android 7.0 (Nougat) or higher. SudoRush is optimized for Android 10+ for best performance.

Is SudoRush free?

Yes, completely free to download and play. The game is supported by optional ads. A one-time in-app purchase removes banner and interstitial ads permanently. Cosmetic themes are available for unlock in-app.

How does the sabotage system work?

You earn coins by solving puzzles correctly. Spend coins to deploy one of 10 sabotage effects against your opponent. Effects include fogging the grid, freezing input, or knocking them down a snake. Sabotages never require real money.

What is ELO and how does ranking work?

ELO is a rating system where you gain points for wins and lose points for losses, scaled by opponent strength. SudoRush has four separate ELO ladders: Easy, Medium, Hard, and Expert. Your rating in each tier tracks independently.

What is the difference between Ranked and Casual mode?

Ranked matches affect your ELO rating and count toward leaderboard position. Casual matches use the same mechanics but have no rating impact. Good for practice or trying new strategies.

How do I remove ads?

Purchase Remove Ads from the in-app store. This permanently removes banner and interstitial ads. Rewarded ads (optional, earn coins) remain available but are never served automatically.
